What to watch on day two
Day two of Samoa 2019 XVI Pacific Games will have 14 sports on the go throughout the day.
Both sailing and archery will commence from 9am for their first day of competitions, with va'a making an early start at 8am.
The Samoan archery team includes 2007 medalist Prime Minister Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Neioti Aiono Sailele Malielegaoi.
Rugby league 9s will kick off at 11am at Apia Park, which will be its second and final day of competition, with medals being awarded to the triumphant teams later in the evening.

Continuation of day one competitions at the cricket ovals in Faleata will start at 9am, weather permitting, or sport fans can move indoors to catch the badminton action at the Multi-Sport Centre from 10am.
Fans can watch squash, table tennis (at the Harvest Centre) and weightlifting (Gym 1) all starting at 9am in Faleata Sports Complex, or get into the basketball in Gym 2.
Keep an eye out for the competitions which will medal – namely archery, swimming at the Aquatic Centre in Faleata, va’a at Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort in Mulifanua, and weightlifting hosted in Gym 1 Faleata sports complex.
Unfortunately, the lawn bowls has been called off for tomorrow morning as Samoan weather continues to be both unpredictable and unseasonable.
